PURPOSE: A reflective liquid crystal projector is provided to easily project an expanded image to a wall by electrically controlling a varifocal liquid crystal lens. CONSTITUTION: A reflective liquid crystal projector comprises a multi-color light source, an illumination lens group(9), a reflective liquid crystal panel(7), a projection lens group(5), a liquid crystal lens(4), and light shielding equipment(34). The multi-color light source is composed of a green LED(10), a blue LED(11), and a red LED(12). The light rays generated from the multi-color light source are collected to the illumination lens group. The light rays are reflected from a semi-permeable mirror unit(61) of a PBS prism(6) and are projected to a reflective liquid crystal panel. The light reflected from the reflective liquid crystal panel is projected to the light shielding equipment through the semi-permeable mirror unit and the projection lens group. |
