The cockpit has a flywheel (4) comprising a gripping unit integrated to a hub (5) that forms a rim (6). The hub is integrated to an end of a steering column (3). The hub supports a display unit i.e. handset (7), that displays information e.g. engine speed, relative to an operation of a vehicle, where the information is fully or partially supported by a fascia (1). The hub of the flywheel acts as a cap against the handset. A lower surface (52) of the hub is convex by being centered on an axis of symmetry of the flywheel.
