PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire, which can be compatible on a dry road and a gravel road without the decrease of wet ability, is provided to increase high control stability capability by extending the outer end of a shoulder width hold to outside of a connection point. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a plurality of grooves formed on a tread part. The grooves are formed on the inner circumference of a tire axis direction with the distance of 10%-20% of the tread ground width from a tire equator. The groove comprises a shoulder width groove(6) in which the outer end of the tire axis direction is expanded out of the connection point. A groove wall side(6h) of the shoulder width groove is composed of a base part(10) and a chamfer part(11). The base is extends from the bottom of slot in the thread face side. A chamfer is extended between an outer end(10e) of the tire radius direction of the base and a tread side(2a) in an arched shape. The radius of curvature(R1) of the chamfer is included of 4.0mm-10.0mm. The shoulder width groove is expanded without communicating with another groove. The shoulder width groove is formed at a tilt 30~90° toward a tire perimeter direction.
