The apparatus has a chamber (11) including a tie rod mounted pivotingly with respect to a casing (10) in an axial direction (X). The chamber is connected at an outer side by an opening in which an anvil (12) is mounted. A displacement unit displaces the anvil and a rod assembly with respect to the casing in the axial direction from a normal rest position to a temporary working position. A return unit automatically returns the anvil and the rod assembly towards the normal rest position in case of liberating a threaded element (15).
