PROGRAM INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD AND DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A program information providing method and a display apparatus using the same are provided to selectively supply only program required by a user. CONSTITUTION: Based on the finishing time of a program currently broadcasted in each channel, the information on the program currently broadcasted in each channel is extracted(S420). The information on the currently-broadcasted program is extracted with the information on the program which is supposed to be broadcasted after currently-broadcasted program(S440). On the basis of the extracted program information, a program information screen is created/displayed(S450).
