PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bread machine which can make good bread when a rice powder is used as a bread ingredient without being mixed with gluten and a thickener. SOLUTION: The automatic bread machine has at least one kind of baking course followed by the control section of the automatic bread machine. The baking course includes a first baking course to be followed when the rice powder is used as a bread ingredient without being mixed it with gluten and a thickener. The first baking course is a course including a stirring process to stir the bread ingredient containing a fermenter by a stirring member, wherein a dough preparation process to prepare a dough from the bread ingredient, a dough resting process to rest the dough obtained by the dough preparation process, a degassing process to degas the dough passing through the dough resting process, a fermentation process to ferment the dough passing through the degassing process, and a baking process to bake the dough passing through the fermentation process are sequentially continuously followed.
