According to one embodiment, an inkjet ink includes a pigment, an aqueous liquid, an oil liquid, and a dihydric alcohol soluble in the aqueous liquid and the oil liquid. The aqueous liquid accounts for 10 to 70% by weight of the inkjet ink, and the oil liquid accounts for 70 to 10% by weight of the inkjet ink. At least a part of the oil liquid is an aromatic alcohol represented by general formula AA, where Ra represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, Rb represents —O— or —CH2O—, and k represents 0 or 1. The dihydric alcohol is selected from compounds represented by general formulae DA, BO, and PO below, Rc—(OH)2   DA OH—(CH2CH2O)n—H   EO OH—(CH(CH3)CH2O)m—H   PO where Rc represents an alkylene group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, n represents 1 to 10, and m represents 2 to 5.
