The invention relates to a cleat for an athletic shoe, having a) a cleat foot (3) having an opening (6) and b) a cleat head (2) having a connecting element (8), wherein c) the connecting element (8) can be pressed into the opening (6) for connecting the cleat head (2) to the cleat foot (3). The invention is characterized in that d) the connecting element (8) has the form of a non-cylindrical pin, having a first diameter D1 and a second diameter D2 measured perpendicular thereto that is less than the first diameter D1, and having e.g. an oval or elliptical circumference, and e) the cleat head (2) is retained in the cleat foot (3) by force closure. |
