<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of brightening a projection image, and stabilizing color balance of the projection image. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1000 includes: a first solid light source device 20 including a first solid light source for emitting excitation light, and a fluorescent layer for converting the excitation light emitted from the first solid light source into light including red light and green light and emitting the light; a second solid light source device 120 including a second solid light source for emitting blue light; light modulation devices 400R, 400G, 400B for modulating each colored light depending on image information; and a projection optical system 600 for projecting modulated light from each light modulation device as the projection image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
