<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic keyboard instrument which is high in assembling work efficiency and wiring work efficiency and the whole of which is made thin and compact by simplifying the instrument body. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of keys 4 are arrayed on a keyboard chassis 2, a circuit board 13 is disposed at the end of the plurality of keys 4, and the circuit board 13 is attached to the keyboard chassis 2 together with the keys 4 by a screw member 23 in this state. Thus, in the attached state of the keys 4 and the circuit board 13 to the keyboard chassis 2, gaps among the plurality of keys 4 are adjusted, connection wiring of the circuit board 13 is carried out, and inspection is carried out before a product is made. Accordingly, not only assembling work efficiency and wiring work efficiency are high but also the upper case 3 of the instrument body 1 for covering the end of the plurality of keys 4 is simplified, and the upper case 3 is made thin.
