<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant fiber which has excellent deodorant performance, maintains initial deodorant performance, even when used for a long period, repeatedly washed, or the like, and little deteriorates the strength, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorant fiber containing a deodorant substance satisfies the following requirements: (a) the deodorant substance is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 4 pts.wt. per total weight of the fiber; (b) the single fiber fineness is 0.5 to 3 dtex; (c) protruded portions are formed of the deodorant substance on the surface of the fiber in a rate of not less than 0.1 protruded portion per μm of the axial length of the fiber; and (d) the average particle diameter of the deodorant substance is 0.1 to 2.5 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
