<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of maintaining always high reliability and safety without erroneous detection in the failure detection of at least one of a cooling fan and an air passage even if used for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: By the operation of a cooling fan 7, outside air is introduced from an air intake at the rear upper part of a body 1 and passes toward the front through the lower stage air passage out of the upper and lower two-stage passages formed at both sides of the body 1 as cooling air, and cools a heat sink 16. Thereafter, the cooling air flows into the upper stage air passage and cools induction heating coils 4a, 4b, and then, advances to the rear and cools a radiant heater 5, and is discharged to the outside of the cooker from the rear exhaust port. When a control part determines that an failure has occurred in the cooling fan or the air passage based on an output of a sensor which detects a physical quantity of the cooling fan or the air passage (number of rotation of fan, temperature, air volume etc.), the control part controls the cooling fan and an inverter, and stops the supply of high frequency power to the induction heating coils and stops the drive of the fan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
