DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEDICATION DISPENSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for medication dispensing which can increase holding volume of blister packages and dispense even a fraction properly while achieving a quick dispensing.

SOLUTION: The medication dispensing device includes: a device body 1; a storage container 2 which is mounted to the devices body 1 so that a plurality of the blister packages for individually packaging the medication are housed in an overlapped state with the overlapping direction in the horizontal direction; a dispensing member 3 which is movably mounted in the device body 1 and moves up to the storage container, so as to dispense the stored blister package; a catching member which catches and conveys the blister packages dispensed by the dispensing member 3; and a cutting member which cuts a fraction from the blister packages caught and conveyed by the catching member. An opening/closing position of an open/shut door allows the dispensing member to dispense either the whole sheet or the fraction of the blister package.
