PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that reduces the difference in color between a live view image and a captured image. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a first image generation part for generating first image data from data read from an imaging sensor; a first image color conversion part for performing color conversion on the first image data; a second image generation part for generating second image data whose image quality is higher than the first image data; a second image color conversion part for performing color conversion on the second image data; a comparison part for comparing the colors of the first image data color-converted in the first image color conversion part and the second image data color-converted in the second image color conversion part and outputting a comparison result; and a parameter computing part for computing and determining the parameter of the color conversion in the second image color conversion part by using the comparison result.
