PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank reinforcement construction method capable of reinforcing a bank at the time of a flood even without a traditional technology or an experience of a conventional technology, having no possibility of causing the collapse of a bank due to defective construction, and capable of reliably exhibiting an effect. SOLUTION: In the bank reinforcement construction method, a bank is covered with a sheet-like object from the slope surface of a waterside land to the slope surface of a protected low land via a levee crown, and the sheet-like object is fixed to the bank at each of a plurality of positions. It is possible to prevent the crack and collapse of the bank, to prevent the scouring of the slope surface, to prevent the overflow of river water, and to delay the weakening of the bank caused by the permeation of rainfall water.
