PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface unit for installing a thin display device, which is constituted so that the thin display device can be easily and surely installed. SOLUTION: This wall surface unit for installing the thin display device includes: a wall means 1 which is equipped with a receiving opening 6 receiving the thin display device TD to be installed, so that at least its display screen can be exposed; a thin display device attachment means 2 for detachably attaching the thin display device to the wall means; a reinforcing means 3 which includes at least a pair of reinforcing supports 18 elongated in the height direction of the wall means, on the backside of the wall means, and at least a pair of reinforcing beams 19 connected to the reinforcing support and elongated in the width direction of the wall means; and a fixing means 4 with a height adjuster, which is provided at the lower and upper ends of the reinforcing support of the reinforcing means, so as to fix the wall means in a desired place in an installation space in cooperation with each other.
