PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire widely adjusting steering stability and suppressing production failure. SOLUTION: An end portion 22Aa on a body portion side and an end portion 22 Ba on a folded back portion side of a bead reinforcement rubber layer are separated from each other in the direction along a carcass 16, so that the rigidity of a bead 12 is sectioned to a two-layered portion of the bead reinforcement rubber layer (high rigidity), a one-layered portion of the bead reinforcement rubber layer (middle rigidity), and a no-layered portion of the bead reinforcement layer (low rigidity). Accordingly, an adjustment range of the rigidity of the bead 12 is widened and thus an adjustment range of the steering stability can be widened. Further, a step portion of the thickness of an end portion of the bead reinforcement rubber layer is dispersed, so that air hardly enters the end portion of the bead reinforcement rubber layer during the manufacture of the tire.
