PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus storing information protection sheets in a space-saving state. SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a printer body 1A; a paper feed cassette 20 which is attachably/detachably stored in the printer body; an image forming part 10 for forming images on the sheets fed from the paper feed cassette 20; a discharge path 77 for discharging the sheets with the images formed thereon by the image forming part, from the printer body; a carry-in path 78 for carrying the information protection sheets among the sheets with images formed by the image forming part into the paper feed cassette; a switching member 62 configured to select between the discharge path and the carry-in path.
