PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software program execution device, for accepting a processing request, even when settings of a software program are changed, without interrupting processing being executed. SOLUTION: An execution monitoring unit 15 monitors, based on instruction from a software program control unit 14, operation of a server application unit 11 which executes the software program by processes, for each process, reports completion of the processing being executed in a first process to the control unit 14. The control unit 14 stops and then restarts the first process in response to the report.
