PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying facility preventing a worker from contacting an article carrying body. SOLUTION: An entrance detecting means K is arranged for detecting an entrance of the worker into a monitoring area E from a non-monitored area N, by detecting the presence of the worker in a place separated from an article taking in and out port 15 more than an installation place of a loading space D. A control means is constituted to control opening-closing operation of an intrusion preventive opening-closing door 16 for putting the intrusion preventing opening-closing door 16 in an opening state when transferring an article between an article carrying body 1 and the loading space D and putting the intrusion preventing opening-closing door 16 in a closing state in response to the fact of detecting that the worker enters the monitoring area E from the non-monitored area N by the entrance detecting means K.
