<p>Disclosed is an input device that can provide a user with tactile feedback in response to push operations and slide operations performed by the user on a touch sensor. When a touch subject performs a slide along a touch surface, a control unit drives a tactile-feedback unit to provide slide-related tactile feedback to the touch subject. When a load-detection unit detects a pressure load changing from a state that does not fulfill a prescribed load criterion to a state that does, the control unit drives the tactile-feedback unit to provide to the touch subject push-related tactile feedback that differs from the aforementioned slide-related tactile feedback.</p> |
