<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly prevent air fuel ratio from becoming lean at intermittently starting of an internal combustion engine mounted in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU controls the engine mounted in the vehicle. When the engine is started (YES at S10), the ECU determines whether the engine water temperature THw is in a fuel quantity increase correction area (S20) and determines whether the engine start is intermittent start (S30); when the engine water temperature THw is in the fuel quantity increase correction area (YES at S20) and the engine start is the intermittent start (NO at S30), the ECU determines whether intake temperature THa is higher than a threshold (S40); and when the intake temperature THa is higher than the threshold (YES at S40), the ECU controls an injector which injects fuel to the engine to increase the quantity of the fuel (S50). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
