PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens which prevents physical interference of lenses that are positioned in front and rear of a prism and in which the prism and optical axes of the lenses positioned in front and rear of the prism are accurately aligned. SOLUTION: The imaging lens 12 is a zoom lens which folds a light path by the prism 26 and alters magnification, by moving a second lens group G2 and a third lens group G3 arranged in the rear of the prism 26. At a negative lens 27 adjacent to the prism 26, a circular notch 36 is provided along an outer edge at the prism 26 side. During altering of the magnification, if the second lens group G2 is moved to a position adjacent to the prism 26, an edge of the second lens group G2 enters into the notch 36.
