PURPOSE: A convection microwave oven capable of cooking time reduction by directly contacting the heated air and food is provided to improve cooking performance by discharging heated air to a cooking chamber from a convection chamber. CONSTITUTION: A convection microwave oven composes a cavity(20), a front plate(11), a back plate(13), a convection chamber(31), a convection fan(34) and a convection motor(35). The cavity forms a cooking chamber(2) in inside. The front plate is installed in the front of the cavity and comprises a door(14). The back plate is installed in the rear side of the cavity. A back plate comprises a flat panel(13a) accomplishing the horizontal plane and a folded part(13b) projected from the leveling plate to the front. The convection chamber is installed in the rear side of the back plate. The convection fan is located between the back plate and the convection chamber. The convection fan is arranged in the bent part site and is arranged in the front of the leveling plate. The convection motor rotates the convection fan.
