<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biuret structure-containing polyisocyanate by an economically advantageous diisocyanate/diamine method that can be carried out while always keeping optimal mixture conditions without exposing diisocyanate to an excessive temperature for lengthy time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for continuously producing a biuret structure-containing polyisocyanate comprises (a) generating the flow of a reaction mixture by mixing a first amount of isocyanate containing an only aliphatically and/or alicyclically bound NCO group with an amine containing an only aliphatically and/or alicyclically bound primary amino group and (b) weighing and supplying a second amount of isocyanate to the flow of reaction mixture for continuous reaction, wherein the ratio of isocyanate in (a) to isocyanate in (b) in terms of pts.wt. ranges from 1:9 to 9:1 and the ratio of the total number of NCO groups in (a) and (b) to the number of NH<SB>2</SB>groups in (a) is at least 4:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
