<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of suppressing a power consumption by positioning processing. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 10 includes: a communication unit 18 for performing radio communication with a base station; a handover execution unit 13 for executing handover processing for switching a communication target of the communication unit 18 from one base station to another base station; a GPS positioning unit 11; a sector positioning unit 12 for acquiring positioning information intermittently, by a method having lower positioning accuracy with a smaller power consumption than the GPS positioning unit 11; and a positioning control unit 14 for driving either of the GPS positioning unit 11 and the sector positioning unit 12 as an acquisition target of the positioning information, and reducing the power consumption on the other side, or changing a frequency for acquiring the positioning information, based on frequency information showing a frequency in which the handover processing is executed by the handover execution unit 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
