PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a pair of cut edge parts without clogging a pipe with the parts. SOLUTION: An edge recovering apparatus 26 has an introductory part 31, a joining box 32, a connection pipe 33, a pipe guiding mechanism 35 and a pipe moving part 36. A pair of introductory parts 31 can freely move in a width direction and are positioned corresponding to a sending position of a pair of edges 14a. A pair of connection pipes 33 send the edges 14a to the joining box 32 and respectively connect a pair of introductory parts 31 with the joining box 32. The joining box 32 joins the edges 14a sent from the pair of connection pipes 33 and sends the joined edges 14a to a cutting apparatus. When the width of a film changes, the pipe guiding mechanism 35 and the pipe moving part 36 move the connection pipe 33 so that an entrance 33a moves in a B direction and an exit 33b moves in a C direction.
