PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device achieving an improvement in sealability of various fluids such as polymer latex. SOLUTION: This pump device transfers fluid from a suction opening to a delivery port by rotation of rotors 11, 12 mounted in pump casings 17, 18. The fluid is sealed by a first sliding member 19 arranged on peripheries of rotating shafts 15, 16 for rotating the rotor 11, 12 and a second sliding member 20 arranged between the pump casings 17, 18 and the first sliding member 19. A diamond-like carbon layer is formed on any one of the sliding surfaces of the first sliding member 19 and second sliding member 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
