PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To horizontally and flatly dispose an inspection sheet on an inspection stage. SOLUTION: A discharge inspection device 4 provided on a liquid discharge device having a drawing device which subjects a functional liquid discharge head to discharge drive to carry out drawing on a work while relatively moving the functional liquid discharge head in a scanning direction to the set work to inspect discharge failure of the functional liquid discharge head by executing image recognition of the discharge result of the functional liquid discharge head includes a strip inspection sheet S receiving inspection discharge of the functional liquid discharge head and an inspection stage 63 on which the inspection sheet S is sucked and disposed. The inspection stage 63 includes a porous plate 71 for sucking and disposing the inspection sheet S, a frame-shaped frame 72 for horizontally holding the porous plate 71 above, and an air chamber formed inside the frame-shaped frame 72 facing the lower surface of the porous plate and also communicating with vacuum suction means.
