PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing fine dust from being discharged from an electric blower to the outside. SOLUTION: An extension pipe 5 has a first member 7 made of a material which positively charges the dust 20 toward a suction hose and a second member 8 made of a material which negatively charges the dust 20 toward the suction hose. With this structure, one part of the dust 20 is positively charged by the friction on the first member 7 while the other part of the dust 20 is negatively charged by the friction on the second member 8 of the extension pipe. As a result, the dust 20 whose mass is relatively light is bonded to create the dust 20 whose mass is relatively heavy. The dust whose mass is relatively heavy can be surely separated from air in a cyclone dust collection chamber, so that the rate of separation in the cyclone dust collection chamber can be increased.
