PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit use of a link clamp, in such a situation that the position of a center line of a clamping width of a fixed portion of a workpiece varies, depending on the type of the workpiece. SOLUTION: A piston 10 is inserted into a housing 2, and a support member 14 is inserted between the piston 10 and the housing 2. The support member 14 is pushed upward with a predetermined force by a push-up mechanism P. A link mechanism 30 mounted on the support member 14 is equipped with a pair of clamping links 32 for clamping the fixed portion 31 of the workpiece W from both sides. An output rod 37 is inserted into the cylindrical hole 10a of the piston 10 at a predetermined floating gap 36. The output part 48 of the output rod 37 is coupled to the input part 32a of the clamping link 32, and the input part 38 of the output rod 37 is swingingly coupled to the an output part 41 of the piston 10.
