PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic adhesive composition capable of attaining static charge prevention to an adherent whose static charge is not prevented when peeled and reducing contamination to the adherent and having excellent adhesion reliability and to provide an antistatic adhesive sheet using the same. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition includes a (meth)acrylic polymer having 2-ethylhexyl (meth)acrylate and a (meth)acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group as components and an alkali metal salt, wherein the (meth)acrylic polymer has an acid value of 1.0 or below, 0.01 to 1 pts.wt. alkali metal salt is contained in 100 pts.wt. (meth)acrylic polymer and the alkali metal salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of LiBr, LiI, LiBF<SB>4</SB>, LiPF<SB>6</SB>, LiSCN, LiClO<SB>4</SB>, LiCF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>, Li(CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>)<SB>2</SB>N and Li(CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>)<SB>3</SB>C.
