Disclosed is a preparation method for a binder solution for electrode formation in a non-aqueous battery that is provided with a process for filtering using a filtration accuracy that is capable of suppressing short-circuiting (shorting) in the interior of a non-aqueous battery such as a lithium ion secondary battery. The preparation method for the binder solution for electrode formation in a non-aqueous battery is specifically provided with a process (A) for filtering a polymer solution that was obtained by dissolving a vinylidene fluoride resin in an organic solvent, by means of a filtering film (a) made from a polyolefin resin with an initial filtration efficiency of at least 99% for filtering a particle size of 20 µm.
