PURPOSE: A projector and a device for supporting the projector are provided to simplify the inner structure of the projector by synthesizing lights emitted from multiple light source assemblies. CONSTITUTION: A projector(1) comprises multiple light source assemblies, a lens assembly(10), and cover units(20,31,32). The light source assemblies have various colors of light and emit light with image signals. The lens assembly comprises a synthesis unit and a lens unit. The synthesis unit forms the rear surface of the projector and synthesizes lights emitted from the light source assemblies. The lens unit is integrally formed in the front of the synthesis unit. The cover units cover the lens assembly and the light source assemblies. |
