PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label issuing apparatus configured to, in a bargain sale, clearly present a specially reduced price and the time, etc., to customers, without requiring any special work. SOLUTION: A CPU 20 is configured to set the bargain sale period and the specially reduced price information of specific items in a bargain sale file stored in a RAM 30 when receiving the input from the operator. The CPU 20 is configured to, upon issuing labels for the items, when the items are set in the bargain sale file, print the bargain period and the specially reduced price information side by side on each of the labels so as to be visible, and also, print the labels using a machine-readable GS1 barcode system. Besides, the CPU 20 is configured to, in the case where a plurality of bargain sale periods and pieces of specially reduced price information are set for the item, print and record the plurality of bargain sale periods and pieces of specially reduced cost information on each of the labels.
