The present invention provides a gesture sensor arrangement and a method for producing it. The sensor according to the invention comprises a plurality of conductive electrodes (12) arranged as an array on a substrate, each of the electrodes (12) being individually designed to capacitively couple to an object, in particular a human limb (31), in the vicinity of the electrode (12). The sensor further comprises sensing electronics (16) functionally connected to said electrodes (12), the sensing electronics (16) being capable of measuring said coupling of the electrodes and determining a position of said object based on said measurement. The electrodes comprise conductive zones printed using conductive ink.
