PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope 1 capable of a special light observation and excellent in portability.

SOLUTION: The medical device includes: a white color LED 22A for a normal light observation and the special light observation; a blue color LED 22B for generating a narrow-band light for the special light observation; a filter 23 for cutting the light other than the light of the wavelength of the narrow-band light from the white color light generated by the white light LED 22A; and a light guide 17 for guiding the light generated by the white light LED 22A and the light generated by the blue color LED 22B to a light emitting part 16.
