PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad for excellently preventing or reducing rubbing sound without providing a different material of nonwoven fabric or the like on the seat pad, and a seat provided with the seat pad. SOLUTION: In the seat pad (seat cushion 10) made of a resin foam and including a center portion 13 and side portions 14 on both right and left sides of the center portion 13, the seat pad has recessed portions or projecting portions (recessed grooves 31, 32, for instance) for preventing the rubbing sound at least at a part of the side portions 14 of the back side of the seat pad. Since the recessed portions or the projecting portions are provided, the rubbing sound caused on the contact surface of the back side of the seat pad and a seat frame 40 is excellently prevented or reduced.
