<p>A lock device for a vehicle, configured so that, in order to ensure that a lock release lever rotates smoothly, the lock release lever does not make contact with a cam member in the direction substantially parallel to the rotation shaft of the lock release lever. Either a support member (81) or a portion of a straddle section (118) of a lock release lever (115), said portion being located at a position beyond a cam member (104), is provided with a holding section (95). The holding section (95) makes slidable contact with the other to thereby hold a cam follower (119) and a portion of the cam member, said portion excluding the cam surface (110), in such a manner that the cam follower (119) and said portion are separated from each other in the direction parallel to a rotation support shaft (92).</p> |
