PURPOSE: A Stirling engine is provided to increase the thermal efficiency of the engine by large temperature difference between a high temperature part and a low temperature part. CONSTITUTION: A Stirling engine comprises a displacer(20) formed inside a cylinder(30). A heater head(10) is coupled with the front side of the cylinder. An expansion space and a compression space are formed on the front and rear portions of the displacer. A regenerating unit(11) is formed on the outer circumference of the heater head. The cooling unit is formed on the outer circumference of the cylinder. A displacer rod is coupled with the rear end of the displacer. A power piston(40) is positioned inside the displacer. The power piston moves forward and backward inside the cylinder. A crank part(50) rotating a pulley(60) is formed at the backend of the power piston. |
