Provided is an inkjet printer capable of more properly generating a driving waveform signal used for driving an actuator at an inkjet head.  An inkjet printer (10) for carrying out printing by discharging an ink drop is provided with an inkjet head (18) having a plurality of nozzles and a plurality of actuators arranged for the respective corresponding nozzles, a head control digital signal output unit (108) for outputting a head control digital signal, a digital amplifier (14) for outputting an amplified control signal that is an amplified signal of the head control digital signal, a smoothing filter (16) having a plurality of capacitors and smoothing the amplified control signal by using some of the plurality of capacitors, thereby generating a driving waveform signal, and a capacitor designation signal output unit (106) for outputting a capacitor designation signal for designating a capacitor to be used for smoothing the amplified control signal.
