EPP(EXPANDED POLYPROPYLENE) MEDIA IMPREGNATED WITH ZEOLITE AND BIOFILTRATION APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An expanded polypropylene media impregnated with zeolite and a bio-membrane based filtering apparatus using the same are provided to reinforce the durability of the media. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene resin and zeolite powder are mixed in a pre-set ratio in order to manufacture expanded polypropylene media impregnated with zeolite. The pre-set ratio is 1 to 20 parts by weight of the zeolite powder, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polypropylene resin. The particle size of the zeolite powder is between 10 and 300um.
