<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED electric bulb of epoch-making type which has a wide range of directional characteristics, can illuminate wide range in the interior as a conventional incandescent lamp, while is of reduced cost than a conventional LED electric bulb, and can extract sufficiently a cost advantage by extending the lifetime of the substrate with sufficient countermeasures for heat. <P>SOLUTION: The LED electric bulb has an LED light source portion on which a plurality of LEDs are installed at the tip portion of a substrate, and the LED light source portion has a taper shape peripheral surface with a part of the peripheral face widening toward the tip side of the substrate with the narrow depth, and a plurality of LEDs are installed at a spacing in the peripheral direction on the taper shape peripheral surface of this LED light source portion, and also the LEDs are installed on the bottom part, and the LEDs installed in the LED light source portion irradiate two kinds of irradiation light of direct irradiation light to irradiate directly the front and reflection irradiation light to irradiate the front after reflecting on the inner surface.
