<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving on-ice/snow performance while sufficiently maintaining biased abrasion resistance and block durability. <P>SOLUTION: In a tread, a plurality of circumferential grooves 10 partition a land into a plurality of blocks 20B. Closed sipes 34, 35 partition the blocks 20B circumferentially into a plurality of partitioned parts. Each of a plurality of the partitioned parts has: the central narrowest partitioned part 20R which is the narrowest in a circumferentially-partitioned width; and wide partitioned parts 20S, 20T in which the narrowest partitioned part 20R is circumferentially sandwiched, and which is wider in the circumferentially partitioned width than the narrowest partitioned part 20R.
