<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening assisting device in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This door opening assisting device P is attached to a door frame 6, and imparts an opening-directional force to a door 5 when the door 5 started to be opened, the door opening assisting device P includes a turning arm 40 constituted to be turned with respect to the door arm 6, and for pushing out the door 5 when the door is opened, and an actuator 30 constituted to make a spindle 32 come in and out into/from an actuator body 31, and the spindle 32 is connected to the turning arm 40, to turn the turning arm 40 toward a door 5 side or a side opposite thereto within a prescribed range, by the advancing and retracting operation of the spindle 32 of the actuator 30.
