<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary monitoring radar system having a mode S which is capable of detecting a real response without being affected by a ghost response, on the occasion when the response is detected again after the real response is missing under the effect of multipath. <P>SOLUTION: In a control device 16, first, target position information obtained by scanning a monitoring area covered by a radar ground station with an all call is stored together with an address in a memory 17. An SLO scan is executed in an azimuthal area which is input by an input device 18 and where a ghost response tends to be generated, and whether an address of a target returning a response signal in the SLO scan agrees with the address of the target stored in the memory 17 and already shifted to a roll call. When they agree with each other, the response signal returned for an SLO question is detected as the ghost response and an instruction to repeal a lock-out against a response to an all-call question is sent out to a target position wherefrom the ghost response is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
