PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device of a blow mold, which simplifies the cleaning of a blow molding machine. SOLUTION: The blow molding machine includes: at least one blow mold 2 which forms a hollow 4, inside which plastic preforms can be deformed into containers; a pressure application device 14 for applying a medium to the plastic preforms in order to expand the plastic preforms against an inner wall 8 of the blow mold delimiting the boundary of the hollow 4; a stretching rod 12 for stretching the plastic preforms in the longitudinal direction L thereof; and an opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing the blow mold; and the cleaning device 10 for cleaning a plurality of regions of the blow mold 2. The cleaning device 10 is provided with at least a first cleaning element 16, 18 for cleaning the inner wall 8 of the blow mold, and the cleaning element 16, 18 is arranged at least sometimes outside the blow mold 2.
