PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which can further appropriately extract other candidate words related to a search keyword input by a user. SOLUTION: The method includes: receiving a search query of the search word u input by the user and extracting search candidate words w based on the search word in reference to a search query log (S5); calculating appropriateness scores of the search candidate words (S6); ranking the search candidate words in the order of the appropriateness scores (S7); determining a determination reference for whether to present the search candidate words to the user based on mutually approximated appropriateness scores (S8); extracting presentation words to be presented to the user from the search candidate words (S9, S10); and transmitting the presentation words (S11).
