PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve maximum efficiency of power saving in power saving control by a latching relay and to ensure normal startup of an electronic device when powered on. SOLUTION: The electronic device includes a power saving structure configured to break power supply to make a mains power 4 in a power saving state by the latching relay 6. Even when the relay is operated and made in an open circuit state to achieve the power saving state and the mains power 2 is turned off, if the mains power is re-turned on, the device returns the circuit state of the latching relay to an initial state automatically and is controlled to start normal power supply to the entire device. In addition, when the mains power is broken, the device delays power loss for a predetermined period of time so as to prevent a trouble at re-turning on power in advance, and starts operation from the correct initial state at re-turning on the device by returning the circuit of the latching relay to a closed circuit state during the short-time delay state.
