PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a shock-absorbing pad to always depict an ideal collapse curve by applying the bracing force of a bracing piece even against the inward tiltation as well as a case in which an erection side wall part constituting a shock-absorbing body part in the shock-absorbing pad is tilted outwardly by a side impact load. SOLUTION: Not only in a case in which an erection side wall part constituting a shock-absorbing body part in a shock-absorbing pad is tilted outwardly by a side impact load, a bracing piece 6 is fitted to a fitting recess 7 of the bracing piece 6 integrated with a door trim 1 to brace the tilting motion inwardly and outwardly generated in the erection side wall parts 4a, 4b of the shock-absorbing body part 4 during a side impact of an automobile in the fitting recess 7.
